Nicole LeClair Welding Bursary Award

Support for Ontario Post-Secondary Welding Students


The Nicole LeClair Welding Bursary Award was created to support Welding students who are pursuing Welding at the post-secondary education level at a private or publicly funded institution within Ontario. Applicants must be residents of Ontario and may be entering into any year of program study in order to be eligible to apply.

The bursaries granted for 2020 (a potential of four issued) will be in the amount of $2,000 each and will be paid directly to the post-secondary institution of which the applicant is registered to offset student tuition and fees.

This award is supported by LeClair's personal funds and other charitable donations. Contributions from individuals or organizations are encouraged and a tax receipt will be issued from the Nicole LeClair Welding Bursary fund. You can donate by selecting the link below.

2019 Nicole LeClair Welding Bursary Award Winner Announced!

CWB Welding Foundation is pleased to offer our congratulations to the winner of the 1st annual Nicole LeClair Welding Bursary Award: Lyndon Hensrud, of Kenora, Ontario

Lyndon will be attending Confederation College in Thunder Bay to pursue its Welding Techniques program in September.  Lyndon’s love of welding is apparent in that it seems to encompass many aspects of his life, from welding in his spare time and purchasing his own welders, to seeking and finding employment in the welding industry, to volunteering his welding skills to local establishments.  There is no doubt that he will excel in his schooling.  The Nicole LeClair Welding Bursary Award is looking for people who will strive, persist and be in it with all their hearts and Lyndon does just that!  Good luck and congratulations again!
