The CWB Welding Foundation wraps up another Mind Over Metal Youth Camp Season

The excitement was palpable this year, and the positive feedback we received from those involved helped illustrate how important these welding camps really are. 

“My son absolutely loved it. He felt so creative learning a new skill. He made a different project with different skills learned. He is excited about high school this year and wants to take a welding course. It was a wonderful week!” – Laura Richey, Participant Parent

“This has been an incredible experience for these students. Many of them have struggled to find their place in school, but this week has built their confidence in themselves, their abilities and their career path opportunities. Watching them grow from being cautious and nervous to picking up a tool and using it confidently was amazing. Their pride was evident at every turn, particularly on the last day when they could show their caregivers their projects and take them home.
